The studio offers workshops to learn the pottery wheel and handbuilding techniques, both for beginners and experienced and gift Voucher for the wheel tester session.

Workshop Terms and Conditions

To take part in a workshop at Blayse Ceramic Studio is necessary to read and agreee the following terms and conditions:

 

Cancellation of a booked workshop:

- for "Try the wheel" is accepted up to 3 days prior to the first session

- for 5 weeks wheel workshops "Learn the Wheel",  "Keep going with the wheel" and 4 weeks weeks "Handbuilding Workshops" and "Glaze Chemistry Lab" is accepted up to 7 days prior to the first session

- for Intensive Workshops is accepted up to 15 days prior to the first session

In case of a not notified non-participation at a certain workshop or lesson, or a cancellation out of the notice period, no refund can be claimed. The participation fee can be converted into a Voucher for a future workshop.

In case of illness, injury or major event is responsibility of the participant to inform Blayse Ceramic. In this case a lesson can be rearranged or postponed if the schedule allows it.

Blayse Ceramic has the right to cancel, postpone the workshop or lesson for serious reason. The workshop or lesson can be refunded or rescheduled if agreed whit the participant.

Safety:

. Workshops are designed for adults 18+

. Blayse Ceramic provides workshops with material and tools which are non-toxic and not harmful for the health and safety of participants

. The participants must follow directions and instructions given by the teacher to ensure that no harm or damage is caused by the use of materials and tools provided during the Workshop

. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, additional safety measures will be implemented during the workshop to ensure safety of both participants and teachers. Blayse Ceramic will keep the number of participants within the number allowed by restrictions. FFP2 or surgical mask must be used for the duration of the workshop and in any case always inside the studio.

. In compliance with the current restrictions established by Berlin Senate, access to workshops is subject to the 3G

. Participants must bring their own FFP2 mask or surgical mask.

. Working with clay can be messy. Participants are recommended to bring appropriate clothes and short nails. Apron will be provided by Blayse Ceramic.
