In 4 weeks we will provide you with:

  • a glance into the history of pottery
  • full-on studio tour explaining the stages a limp of clay has to travel through to become a ceramic object 
  • firing service
  • tools and materials


 You will learn how to:

  • create ceramic objects using and combining 3 different methods: pinch pot, coiling trails, slab building, forming
  • work with various clay bodies and blend them together
  • attach and connect external pieces of clay to your object while decorating process or making handles
  • rework clay
  • glaze your creations using different techniques such as dipping, brushing, pouring, layering

Everyone will have the opportunity to engage in various surface decoration techniques including printing with stones & dry flowers, carving, drawing.

Prepare yourself for a grounding and relaxing yet joyful and productive exploration of clay material and your inner artist. As a result you will get different pottery objects created by you and all the knowledge to continue the ceramic journey on your own.

No prior skills required. This course is designed for those who make their first steps in a beautiful wonderland of clay.


Course is thought in English.

Day 1 - PINCHING 

to create bowls, cups, mugs and jars

Day 2 - COILING 

to make vessels and vases

Day 3 - SLAB and FORMING 

for plates, vases, mugs and geometric forms

DAY 4 - GLAZING

We will glaze together the bisque works using different techniques such as dipping, pouring, layering, brushing choosing from the many glazes available in studio.

The Glaze Session is subjected to changes in case your works are not ready to be fired and can be rescheduled.

Your glazed works will be fired at 1240 °C in 2-3 Weeks. I will let you know when they are ready for pick up.
